Wow! Don’t let Casa Bacuuza’s modest location fool you. The food can match pound for pound with anything else in the city. This culinary team has a bright future. Their unique dishes combined with intense and fresh flavours stood out, and I can easily say this has been the best meal we have had in our first week in Puebla. Congrats to the team at Casa Bacuuza for a job well done! We have another two months here so we will be back a few times.

We never repeat restaurants when we travel, but came here for dinner two nights in a row because it was just so good. Well crafted, beautifully presented, and generous portions. Honestly better than many Michelin rated restaurants we have been too!

My sister and her BF have been raving about this restaurant and finally I was in town and able to make it - it is something special. It definitely met and surpassed my expectations! We ordered two apps, three entrees, and two desserts (on top of specialty drinks) each was so delicious and different from the next. It is priced appropriately and a wonderful choice for a special dinner or just a night out in the centro. Highly recommend! (My photos don’t do it justice) PS. Try the ravioli - a classic favorite with a native twist. It is out of this world!!

Absolutely brilliant! I joked about eating food from Oaxaca in Puebla, but it was Absolutely amazing! Service was amazing. We had short rib in mole, and huitlacotchle risotto. It was very filling and cooked to perfection!

I highly recommend this restaurant. Tastiest food I have ever tried. My mom, husband and I tried the green salsa chilaquiles, tlayuda with tasajo and pan de yema with home made blackberries jam. We will go back. Congratulations to the chefs!
